JCI Cebu Inc. organized a free medical consultation project – LAAG ABAG : FREE SERVICES 4 PARDO at Sitio Tabucanal, Poblacion Pardo, Cebu City.
The project provides free medical and optical check-ups, legal advice, and nutrition services to the beneficiaries surrounding Sitio Tabucanal, Pardo.
The aforementioned project was partnered with Department of Health Region VII, JCI Cebu Hara, JCI Surigao Wensie, and Cebu Illustre Eagles Club.
Dr. Joseph Tomakin, together with his colleagues, and Dr. Tipay Aguilar of JCI Cebu Hara helped in administering the consultations for the beneficiaries. Free medicines and vitamins were given to the beneficiaries.
Free optical check-ups and reading glasses were given to the beneficiaries, especially to the adults and elderly.
Legal consultations were given to the people who were in need of legal advice headed by JCI Cebu’s Legal Adviser Atty. Dexter Cabahug.
There will be more public health projects for other areas in Cebu according to Senior Director Carrel Pantollano.
