We are excited to share that JCI Cebu will be hosting the “Rise Up for the SDG Caravan” on September 20, 2024, at the Cebu City Social Hall. This event is in partnership with the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Region 7, the Cebu City Government, JJC University of San Carlos, JJC CIT-University, JJC Cebu Normal University, and JCI Mactan Reyna Bulakna.
The SDG Caravan is designed to promote awareness and inspire action toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We are engaging representatives from the barangay councils and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) from the 46 barangays of Cebu City’s North District to align local efforts with these global objectives.
Through collaboration with community leaders, this initiative seeks to address key issues like quality education, climate action, and poverty reduction, pushing Cebu toward a more sustainable and resilient future.
