KIDPRENEURSHIP: JAYCEES NURTURING CEBUANO YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS By JCI Cebu

The “Kidpreneurship: Jaycees Nurturing Cebuano Young Entrepreneurs” program addresses the Purok community centers and rising unemployment in Cebu, promoting sustainable development through decent work and economic growth (UN SDG No. 8 and global partnerships (UN SDG No. 17). Our three main objectives over the next three years are:

1. Empowered Community: Provide 10 community tents as alternatives to Purok centers, with 5 tents distributed in the first 2 years and 5 in the third year to 10 Sitios in Barangay Lagtang, Talisay Cebu.

2. Cultivate Entrepreneurial Skills: Offer hands-on workshops and interactive activities to inspire and develop the entrepreneurial potential of Cebuano youth, building a strong foundation of knowledge and skills.

3. Financial Literacy: Deliver comprehensive financial literacy training to the communities of Barangay Lagtang, Talisay, Cebu.

The program targets 10 Sitio communities, aiming to install 10 community tents and introduce 10 business start-up ideas and training sessions to provide decent work opportunities and significant economic growth.
