Fureverhomes 3.0
Fureverhomes 3.0 is the third iteration of JCI Cebu’s flagship animal welfare program. As part of the continuous improvement and further sustainability of the project, JCI Cebu was able to create innovative strategies to create impact towards the improvement of health and mental well-being of both pet and pet-owners.
Fureverhomes 3.0 was able to explore the benefits of PET Storytime; hence, the project prioritized PET Storytime – an innovation on human-animal interaction. PET Storytime for this iteration is supplement to pet essentials distribution, anti-rabies vaccination program, and for this year, introduction of pet area mapping – a data-driven approach to collect vital information on local pet populations.
This program does not only aim to raise awareness of the importance of fostering emotional bonds with pets but also by identifying pet-dense areas and tracking health needs, this mapping initiative enhances targeted interventions, ensuring healthier communities for both pets and their owners.
