Healthy Smiles Year 3
Now on its third year, Healthy Smiles has grown from a toothbrush giveaway into a full-scale health and sustainability movement. In just 8 months, JCI Cebu and partners distributed 1,570+ dental kits to 9 communities and activated 70 Smile Ambassadors, youth leaders trained to promote proper oral hygiene. The project reached remote islands like Camotes, Malapascua, and Pangan-an, combining education with cleft lip and palate surgeries, eco-brick exchanges, and interactive learning via the BrightWheels mobile truck. Backed by ₱551,000 ($9.4K) in support and 58 JCI members, Healthy Smiles empowers children, restores dignity, and instills lifelong health habits. With partners like JCI Mactan Reyna Bulakna and international allies from JCI Korea and JCI Japan, the movement has gone global, proving that consistent compassion can build a legacy. From school visits to surgical missions, no smile is left behind.
