JCI Cebu clutched one of the most distinguished and eminent awards of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Philippines, The Temiong Award. It is most definitely the highest award bestowed to any JCI chapter during the National Convention for outstanding projects and initiatives. Projects from different JCI chapters have been thoroughly arbitrated by internal and external judges of the competition, along with critical and standardized process that goes with it.

JCI Cebu Inc., as hailed one of the oldest JCI chapters in Asia, takes pride for its success as DASIG Student program has won during the the National Convention of JCI Chapters in the Philippines held at Isabela Convention Center (ICON) on November 12-13, 2021. The program was recognized as the Best Local Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project for 2021, soaring high from the CSR projects of JCI chapters in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

DASIG Student Program has been one of the most comprehensive NGO projects that contributed scholarship and development opportunities for indigent and unprivileged brothers and sisters who are struggling in this time of pandemic crisis. The organization remarkably reached almost PhP 7,000,000.00 worth of scholarships through the help of its 20 corporate partners. This has reached and provided 101 indigent students with a scholarship package all-inclusive of free senior high school education, smart cellular phones, a monthly internet package, and access to learning and skills development programs.

The notable program was previously proclaimed as the QUADRO Awardee of the same award category during the 41st Visayas Area Conference held at Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark, Cebu on September 04, 2021. It has beaten the nominations of other JCI chapters in the Central, Western, and Eastern Visayas Region.

The continuing implementation and growth of DASIG Student Program continues to develop with the recently executed academic training sessions in partnership with the Academia Systems Global Colleges, Cebu Normal University, and Talisay City College. The scholars are trained by several leading mathematicians and professors in the Philippines.
