JCI Cebu Aspirants launches Project SPARK

JCI Cebu Aspirants kick off the three-phased Project S.P.A.R.K. (Supportang Pang-negosyo Alang sa Responsableng Kabataan) through a 1-day workshop at Danao City, Cebu.

In collaboration with the Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines-Danao (PYAP-Danao) and the City Social Welfare and Development Office of Danao City, Project S.P.A.R.K. aims to provide entrepreneurship opportunities to the out-of-school youth in Danao City.

Attended by 30 participants, phase 1 of the project is a workshop with the objective of promoting entrepreneurship to the out-of-school youth (OSY) to inspire them to take that path.

Warren Ronell Flores, a baby Jaycee and entrepreneur, and Kenosis Leo Gadapan, Cheezken founder, provided their valuable and inspiring insights to the participants.

β€œGreat kick-off project for Project SPARK, not only for the JCI Babies, but especially for the beneficiary of OSY in Danao City,” says Jefferson Ombe, Vice-President for Linkages of JCI Cebu.

The workshop is in sponsored by JT CRM Services, Best Pal Coffee, Creative Space Studio, RCD Engineering Services, Tita Belen’s Empanada, Nepcon Construction Corporation, and Cheezken.
