Summary
We are bidding Nerd Nights for the Best Fundraising Program because it is a highly repeatable and profitable fundraising program for the local organization. It is a series of events that caters to the growing “nerd” culture, such as movie screenings and game nights. While each event generates a modest income, the accumulative income is noteworthy considering the minimal planning and efforts it requires. Across three events, we’ve been able to generate over thirty thousand pesos in surplus. Considering each event requires a month or less to organize, we see this as a prime opportunity for the organization to raise funds, to build and strengthen ties with our beneficiaries, sponsors and partners, and to increase brand awareness with the general public.
