Furever Homes 2.0
FURever HOME 2.0 is the second-year implementation of JCI Cebu, Inc.’s FURever HOME flagship program. As part of the continuous improvement and further sustainability of the project, the MockingJay was able to scale up the impact towards the good health and well-being of the participants and the animals themselves. FURever HOME 2.0 was able to explore the benefits of PET Storytelling; hence, the project prioritized PET Storytelling as a supplement to anti-rabies vaccination, pet essential distribution, and shelter recovery.
Furthermore, having an established animal shelter will also decrease the incidence of rabies infection and protect the community from threats of animal bites, decreasing animal abuse and cruelty. This program is also a steppingstone in providing community awareness of the importance of animal care and adoption.
