NEWcleus: Narratives that Empower and Win

JCI Cebu’s official publication, Nucleus, has evolved into a storytelling hub through the strategic NEWcleus branding initiative. This initiative was designed to Nurture membership participation, Elevate platforms, and Win visibility.

With a dynamic publication team under the newly established Communications Department, Nucleus Publication has become the largest communications unit, featuring its own Editorial Board with representatives from each JCI Cebu department. Since the implementation of NEWcleus, the publication has produced two major magazine issues, eight monthly newsletters, and over 100 digital articles, half of which were made during President Jefferson Ombe’s Blueprint term.

Nucleus has also launched engaging contributor programs, publication training sessions, and The Urban Shift podcast while optimizing platforms such as Facebook and the jcicebu.org website. Today, Nucleus stands as a multi-content powerhouse, showcasing how narratives can go beyond mere reporting to inspire leadership, foster innovation, and build better communities across the Four Areas of Opportunity in JCI.
