JCI Cebu Launches Project H.U.N.G.I.T. to Combat Childhood Malnutrition!

In partnership with CDO Odyssey Foundation, Inc., JCI Cebu proudly kicks off Project H.U.N.G.I.T., a five-week initiative aimed at providing nutritious meals, health checkups, and engaging play activities for children aged 3-5 years at Brgy. Garing Day Care Center in Consolacion, Cebu. With a goal to improve local nutrition and support early childhood development, this program is already making an impact for over 60 children!

Led by 2025 Director for Membership Engagement Andreu Padernal, the first session was filled with joyful smiles as volunteers prepared meals, checked each child’s weight, and shared moments of lively playtime with the children. The daycare center was also gifted with educational materials to support learning beyond the project.
