Revenge of the Nerds: Geek Culture for Good
The second edition of Nerd Night was a landmark event, epitomizing successful collaboration and community engagement. Involving seven key collaborators—JJC CIT-U, Pawns & Pixels, Play2Connect, Cebu Xgeeks, SaberSturm, Capu Coffee, and Creative Hub—the event showcased a synergy of unique strengths that enhanced its multifaceted appeal. Attracting an impressive attendance of 70+ participants and 30+ dedicated volunteers and partners, the event boasted a project value of Php 210,000.
Nerd Night 2.0 resonated deeply with JCI’s strategic aims, augmenting brand awareness. The night exquisitely combined geek culture and philanthropy, setting a high standard for future initiatives. Significantly, proceeds supported RESTORE, a non-profit aiding trauma victims, particularly children, and contributed to åcommunity projects led by JCI Cebu.
