APAC Leadership Exchange – PH-KR-MY
The APAC Leadership Exchange Program exemplifies JCI Cebu’s commitment to developing leaders and collaborating with international sister chapters to promote sustainable global action. By bridging JCI Cebu and JCI Tanjung Aru MY, JCI Sibu MY, and JCI Sangju KR, we empower to create solutions to our shared global problems while staying close to our local communities, embodying the true essence of global leadership. Under this program, the three international sister chapters amplifies international cooperation through leading projects in another country. For the first half of this program, JCI Cebu PH lead a project in Malaysia (Phase 1), JCI Sibu, JCI Tanjung Aru, and JCI Sangju hosted two projects in the Philippines (Phase 2). For Phase 3, JCI Tanjung Aru headed a project in the Philippines, and for Phase 4, JCI Cebu will head a project in South Korea. Through the five projects created, 19,910 lives benefited and 12 communutes were engaged. Additionally, the program trained 490 JCI members to become global leaders, and achieved eight (8) UN Sustainable Development Goals through the sustainable projects developed.
