Project BERDE (Beneficial Eco-friendly Resources for Development and Empowerment)
Project BERDE (Beneficial Eco-friendly Resources for Development and Empowerment) paved way for 12 youth organization in Danao City, Cebu to be exposed on the social, economic, and environmental impact of agricultural production innovation through a tube-type start-up hydroponics system. Project BERDE is the FIRST EVER YOUTH-INITITIATED NFT PORTABLE HYDROPONICS SYSTEM IN THE CITY handled by well-trained youths in the community.
Furthermore, Project BERDE inspired to create a significant positive change, since it expanded to being a large-scale self-sustaining hydroponics farm where it also became the FIRST EVER SOLAR-POWERED HYDROPONICS FARM across 3 different municipalities in Cebu.
