Project AYOS Lusog: (Access. Yields. Outreach. Solutions.)
AYOS Lusosg is JCI Cebu’s public health program, designed to deliver data-informed medical missions to underserved communities. Anchored in barangay consultations, AYOS reached remote areas such as Camotes, Malapascua, and San Remigio, where hospital access often requires hours of travel. The program provided over 500+ beneficiaries with free medical consultations, circumcisions, mental health orientation, hygiene kits, and dental education. It also upgraded health units, trained local health workers, and mobilised 212 volunteers, including 65 medical professionals. Through modular planning and active partnerships, the project raised over $7,965USD (₱450K+) in cash and in-kind support from civic, private, and government partners. Each rollout was led by JCI Cebu members, with strong youth involvement and co-chairing. The Impact Blueprint was refined for replication, with the next immersion set in Alcantara. AYOS proves that sustainable public health delivery is possible when community voices lead, partnerships are strong, and leadership is shared.
