JCI Cebu marked a milestone at its 77th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies at Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu, attended by JCI Philippines National President Engr. Felix Venson Chua III, JCI EVP for Asia and the Pacific Mark David, 2006 JCI World President Lars Hajslund, and other distinguished guests.
With this year’s leadership theme, Blueprint, JCI Cebu highlighted its forward-thinking mission to drive sustainable community impact, foster empowered leaders, and promote nation-building through innovative civic engagement. The ceremony served as both a celebration of enduring service and a call to shape the future with purpose and unity.
During the event, 2025 JCI Cebu President Jefferson Ombe was formally inducted, along with the new Board of Directors. Their installation represents a bold continuation of JCI Cebu’s tradition of nurturing purpose-driven leadership and creating ripple effects beyond titles and terms.
President Ombe shared his vision of building lasting legacies through inclusive and transformative projects anchored in collaboration and service. He emphasized that the strength of JCI Cebu lies not only in individual leadership, but in the collective commitment to lead with courage, serve with empathy, and build with intention.
The event also honored outgoing leaders whose service in 2024 paved the way for new initiatives and strengthened the organization’s foundation. Their dedication and resilience were recognized as key drivers in sustaining JCI Cebu’s impact across communities.
As JCI Cebu steps into another year of impact, the message was clear: “We don’t just lead for today—we build for generations.” The 77th Induction wasn’t just a ceremony; it was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when leadership is grounded in vision, values, and a shared blueprint for the future.
