JCI Cebu’s Trainer’s PIT Day 3: Mastering Leadership, Content Creation, and Communication Skills!*
On April 23, 2024, JCI Cebu hosted the third day of the Trainer’s Performance Improvement Trials (PIT) at enspace Cebu, Cebu Business Park. Gabay trainer graduates from JCI Cebu Sinulog and JCI METRO CEBU UPTOWN gathered for an enriching day focused on advanced leadership, innovative content creation, and effective communication.
The event began with Joshua Ouano Dizon’s session, “Age is Just a Number: Strategies for Young Managers Leading Older Teams.” Participants explored practical strategies for young managers to effectively lead and inspire older team members, fostering mutual respect and collaboration in the workplace.
Following this, Mara Thesa Cotejar led “The Subtle Art of Content Creation: 5 Essentials in Starting a Podcast.” Attendees delved into the world of podcasting, learning key techniques for creating engaging content, building an audience, and maintaining a successful podcast.
The day concluded with Paul Timothy Yap’s dynamic workshop, “Unlocking Impromptu Speaking: The SMG Approach to Effective Communication.” This session equipped participants with the skills to think on their feet, communicate clearly and confidently, and excel in spontaneous speaking situations.
