JCI Cebu’s Organizational Development launches the year with an evening of fellowship and friendly competition at Bros & Brews: Sip and Chill on January 16, 2025, held at Capu Coffee, Cebu City. The engagement activity gathered 23 members and friends, offering a relaxed space for socializing over coffee and board games.
The membership engagement initiative was aimed to provide members and friends with an avenue to connect, exchange ideas, and unwind. Project Chair Andreu Bele Padernal led the activity, which featured a diverse lineup of board games participated by members of the Cebu Board Gamers, creating an interactive and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Adding depth to the event, the Project Chair, who is also the Director of Membership Engagement, took the opportunity to share upcoming JCI Cebu activities, encouraging members to stay involved in future initiatives. Attendees appreciated the night’s casual yet enriching atmosphere, where meaningful and productive conversations complemented the strategic and competitive gameplay.
“It’s through collaboration and camaraderie that ideas develop, and this activity provided a platform for members to engage in discussions while enjoying quality time,” shared Padernal.
Participants described the event as collaborative and engaging, with many highlighting the board games and social interactions with other players as their favorite aspects. Despite minor challenges like the weather, attendees expressed enthusiasm for future editions of Bros & Brews, reinforcing its potential as a recurring JCI Cebu engagement.
