This lively gathering transformed an ordinary Saturday evening into an immersive experience filled with games, creativity, and connection. The event welcomed hobbyists, casual gamers, card game enthusiasts, cosplayers, and curious newcomers, all united by their shared love for learning through play. What began as a simple social concept blossomed into a celebration of collaboration and community, showcasing how purposeful partnerships and passion can come together to create something truly memorable.
Held at the cozy and welcoming Capu Coffee x Advent Business Center, the event featured multiple interactive zones and activities that allowed attendees to explore new hobbies, engage in friendly competition, and reconnect with old favorites. Nerd Night spotlighted the growing influence of Cebu’s geek and gaming culture while creating a safe and inclusive space for all.
Among the top highlights was the Switch gaming station hosted by Play N’ Connect, which drew in enthusiastic players eager for head-to-head rounds of Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart. Whether first-timers or returning champions, guests enjoyed a balance of casual fun and competitive spirit.
Nostalgia was in full swing with BeyBlade X Cebu, thrilling the crowd with fast-paced spinning battles and hands-on participation. Meanwhile, Legends Hobby Shop curated a “Play to Learn” corner for Magic: The Gathering, guiding newcomers through strategies while welcoming veterans back to the timeless game.
The force was strong at the CebuXGeeks x SaberSturm booth, where guests engaged with lightsaber demos, cosplay interactions, and the galaxy-spanning excitement of Star Wars-inspired fun. These mini-experiences added a cinematic flair to the event, bridging fandom with interactive storytelling.
Throughout the evening, Capu Coffee and Advent Business Center kept guests energized with food, drinks, and a cozy ambiance that encouraged mingling and meaningful conversations.
