JCI CEBU (Cebu Jaycees) deepened its commitment to positive change through the third installment of Impact Immersion, held last May 24–25, 2025, in Barangay Lambusan, San Remigio. Spearheaded by the Community Development Team in collaboration with the Organizational Development Team, the initiative brought essential services and programs directly to Northern Cebu communities.
Building on the success of previous immersions in Camotes Island and Malapascua, this leg expanded JCI Cebu’s reach with four key focus areas: health, wellness, animal welfare, and youth engagement.
In partnership with the VisayasMed Family Medicine Department, the two-day outreach featured a comprehensive medical mission and Operation Tuli, as well as free dental services and oral health education under Healthy Smiles Year 3, and cleft consultations supported by Operation Smile. Mental health awareness and psychosocial support were also made available through the MindSpace initiative, while the FureverHomes 3.0 program promoted animal care and pet adoption.
The immersion was made possible by the generous collaboration of key partners, including the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians, Inc., the Department of Health (Philippines), the Municipality of San Remigio, and Barangay Lambusan LGU. Corporate and institutional supporters included Philusa Corporation, PANPHARMA, Cleene CLIO Toothbrush, Medical Center Trading Corporation, San Remigio Beach Club, Travelbee Budget Inns, and BIG HOTEL.
Volunteers, partners, and local leaders all played a vital role in ensuring the success of the immersion, turning shared efforts into life-changing moments for the community.
Through initiatives like Impact Immersion, JCI Cebu continues to uphold its mission of sustainable impact, building bridges with compassion, empowering communities, and inspiring active citizenship across the Cebu province and beyond.
