JCI Cebu achieved a historic milestone by bringing the JCI Philippines “Bags of Hope” National Project beyond the country’s borders through the 2nd iteration of the Superman Project in Korea on May 9, 2026. Demonstrating that service transcends geography, JCI Cebu combined cultural exchange with meaningful community outreach by participating in a traditional kimchi-making activity before personally delivering care packages to 30 children in local communities.

Each Bag of Hope was thoughtfully prepared with coloring kits to encourage creativity, iconic Cebuano delicacies that shared a taste of the Philippines, and personalized letters of encouragement from JCI Cebu President Daryl, making every gift both meaningful and memorable.

By hand-delivering the bags to each child’s doorstep, JCI Cebu showcased the compassion, generosity, and service-driven spirit of JCI Philippines on an international stage. The initiative reflects the chapter’s commitment to building global friendships, promoting cultural understanding, and proving that kindness has the power to unite communities across borders.
