JCI Cebu proudly hosted the JCI RISE Area 4 Launch through BOHE MAKA SANNANG: Water Is Life, a landmark collaboration with JCI Japan dedicated to advancing sustainable community development and international cooperation. Held on June 21, 2026, at the Nano Nagle Learning Center in Alaska, Mambaling, the event celebrated the rich heritage of the Badjao community while promoting initiatives that strengthen health, livelihood, and long-term resilience.
A press conference with organizational leaders introduced the project’s vision and roadmap, emphasizing sustainable empowerment through meaningful local and international partnerships. The launch featured three flagship initiatives: Smile by Water, delivering clean water and sanitation support; Hydrate Cebu, promoting safe water access and water conservation; and Kidtrepreneurship, equipping children with practical entrepreneurial skills for a brighter future.
Through BOHE MAKA SANNANG, JCI Cebu reaffirmed its commitment to creating lasting impact by uniting communities, empowering indigenous families, and advancing sustainable solutions that improve lives and inspire hope for generations to come.
