JCI Cebu, together with fellow JCI chapters, successfully launched Oplan Kaagapay Phase 1: Gugma. Paglaum. Pagbangon. on November 12, 2025, delivering more than 500 relief packs to families affected by Typhoon Tino in Barangays Lusaran and Buot, Cebu City. The humanitarian initiative reflected the collective commitment of the JCI movement to provide timely assistance and hope to communities recovering from disaster.
Preparations began on November 11 at the University of the Visayas Main Campus, where volunteers repacked relief goods before their distribution. The project was made possible through the collaboration of JCI Zugbuana, JCI Mandaue, JCI Metro Cebu Uptown, JCI WoMandaue, JCI Makati Princess Urduja, JCI Macajalar24K, and JJC Sugbo, demonstrating the strength of inter-chapter cooperation.
Led by 2026 Director Gerome Diaz and Commissioner Harryl Jay Ondo, JCI Cebu’s Oplan Kaagapay continues to embody compassion, unity, and service. The organization extends its sincere gratitude to every volunteer, donor, and partner whose generosity helped bring hope and relief to affected families as they begin rebuilding their lives.
